Platform 24 Set For Grand Opening

Indiana’s newest coworking space will hold its grand opening Thursday in Carmel. State and local officials will cut the ribbon on Platform 24, which was created through a partnership between Carmel-based The Brookfield Group and The Speak Easy in Indianapolis.
Carmel Mayor Jim Brainard will join Indiana Economic Development Corp. President Elaine Bedel for the kickoff event. The 35,000 square-foot facility includes 10,000 square feet of open workspace which co-founder Daniel Abdallah hopes will attract 200-250 members.
Abdallah told Inside INdiana Business last week he hopes to eventually take over the building next door, adding 40,000 square feet to the space. Platform 24 is the latest coworking space for The Speak Easy, which also has locations in downtown Indianapolis and the Broad Ripple neighborhood, as well as ZWorks in Zionsville.
