Evansville Mayor Lloyd Winnecke and Indiana Landmarks President Marsh Davis will announce a new use for the historic Greyhound bus terminal in downtown Evansville. The city says officials from Old National Bank and Vectren will attend Tuesday’s news conference. The news conference will be held at 4:30 p.m. CDT at the Greyhound bus terminal.
The exterior of the historic blue building has been restored. Back in June, Indiana Landmarks held a re-lighting ceremony at the site to celebrate. The Greyhound terminal was built in 1939 and was designed by Louisville, KY architect William S. Arrasmith.
