Plans for a statue of Col. Harvey Weir Cook will be unveiled July 2 at the Indianapolis International Airport terminal which bears his name. Members of the Hoosier aviation pioneer's family will attend the announcement.

WHAT: The unveiling of plans for a statue of Col. Harvey Weir Cook, a pioneer of commercial and military aviation in Indiana with long ties to the airport’s history. The statue will be placed on prominent display at the center entrance to the Weir Cook Memorial Terminal.

WHERE: Inside the center entrance from the upper (departure) level to the Col. H. Weir Cook Memorial Terminal Building’s Ticketing Hall.
