The two Class A structures are the second and third facilities in a four-building development. When complete, the project will encompass nearly 900,000 square feet.
One of the buildings is about 200,000-square feet and the other is nearly 475,000-square feet. Ambrose says it expects both buildings will be complete by December.
The complex, located in the town of Plainfield, is close to I-70 and the Indianapolis International Airport.
“Plainfield is one of Indiana’s fastest-growing communities, and Plainfield Logistics Park is an exciting part of our development,” said Robin Brandgard, president of the Plainfield Town Council. “The new buildings will aid our efforts to bring new businesses and good-paying jobs to Plainfield.”
The developer says the first building in the park was fully leased when construction was complete and it expects these two new warehouses will be leased by the time construction is complete due to similar demand in the logistics sector.
