Subscribe NowU.S. Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker has presented Plainfield-based Jeco Plastic Products with the President’s "E" Award. The recognition honors companies that have made significant contributions to expanding U.S. exports.
Pritzker said Craig Carson, president and chief executive officer of Jeco, has taken advantages of services offered to small businesses by the U.S. Department of Commerce. She said the majority of Jeco’s business comes from overseas.
"Jeco Plastic Products is proud to join an elite group of US companies that excel in exporting," said Carson. "Printers and automobile manufacturers around the world benefit from our design and manufacturing capability, and it is a pleasure to accept this award on behalf of all Jeco employees."
Jeco Plastic Products says it designs and manufactures high-tolerance pallets and containers for the printing and automotive industries.
