Pivot Marketing has promoted: Libby Simmons (pictured), public relations director; Jonathan Allinson (pictured), head of strategy and Derek Hulsey, art director. 

Simmons most recently served as a public relations specialist. She has crafted regional broadcast strategies for Visit Bloomington, secured national press for No Mean City, and spearheaded successful influencer and social programs for Axis Architecture + Interiors, Graceland Fruit, and Lash & Brow Design Co. Simmons previously covered the legislative session at the Statehouse and worked at VOX Global. She is a board member for Dig IN and The Patachou Foundation. 

Allinson also serves as a strategist and helps companies advance their brands. He conducts market and audience research and has developed strategic marketing plans for a wide range of clients, including Christ Church Cathedral, Four Day Ray and the Arts Council of Indianapolis. After studying media arts and business administration at Butler University, Allinson worked at Indiana Recycling Coalition, then served as director of operations and development of People for Urban Progress. He’s a member of Downtown Indy’s marketing board and a graduate of IndyHub’s 1828 Project.

Also, Hulsey developed his craft at the Art Institute of Indianapolis, then worked for the Heartland Film Festival. While there, he led the design of a rebrand that garnered national attention. Hulsey previously served as a graphic designer and developed brand foundations and original artwork for Visit Bloomington, Bennett Boehning and Clary, Four Day Ray and others.
