Blairex Laboratories developed and is manufacturing the personal, portable Breathe Free Essentials at its facilities in Columbus.
The company says the first-of-its-kind device delivers natural oils to the user.
“In addition to the technology delivery system, our unique use of saline as the delivery base of the essential oils, moisturizes nasal passages and sinuses,” Blairex Laboratories President Jeff Logston told Business of Health Reporter Kylie Veleta.
With the daily stresses of the pandemic taking a toll on the health and well-being of some people, Blairex says its natural product can help people take a pause. Logston says the technology disperses the healthy oils in a nebulizer-like mist. He says the cordless, handheld device makes it easier to receive the stress-relieving benefits.
The company launched the system via e-commerce.
“We did so, so we could more personally deliver the brand, our message, the benefits to those using it,” said Logston “Media influencers played an important role in delivering that message in truly showing the must-see- it- to-believe experience.”
With the success of the delivery system, Logston says the company is looking at other opportunities in the preventative and self-help markets.
