PFW Lecture Hall Named After Friedel

Art Friedel

Purdue University Fort Wayne has named a lecture hall in the Science Building after longtime chemistry professor Art Friedel. He served the university from from 1967 to 2019. Friedel retired as a full-time faculty member in 2007 and then continued to teach every fall semester through 2018. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor of science in secondary education and physical science and a master’s degree in education. Friedel earned a Ph.D. at The Ohio State University.
