The vice president of marketing and communications at Visit Indy says this weekend's return of former Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning is expected to be a boon for the city's economy. Chris Gahl tells Inside INdiana Business downtown hotel rooms are at “virtual sellout” levels. He says occupancy rates are currently at 99 percent, compared to 57 percent during the same weekend last year.

Gahl says there is no pregame estimation for the economic impact of Sunday's sold out game.

Manning played for the Colts from 1998 through 2011 and is currently at the helm of the Denver Broncos.
