Governor Mike Pence will sign two economic development bills Tuesday in Greenwood. They include a measure giving local governments the option to eliminate the business personal property tax. Proponents of the tax cut say it would remove a hurdle for job creation in the state. Many local government leaders say losing the revenue would put more stress on already cash-strapped communities.
