Governor Mike Pence's deputy chief of staff of policy and strategy is leaving the administration. Ryan Streeter has accepted the role of director of the Center for Politics and Governance at The University of Texas at Austin.

Indianapolis, Ind. — Governor Mike Pence recently accepted the resignation of his Deputy Chief of Staff of Policy and Strategy, Ryan Streeter. Streeter will start his new role as Director of the Center for Politics and Governance at The University of Texas at Austin on January 2, 2015. Prior to joining the Pence administration, Streeter has served in various roles in the private and public sectors, including as special assistant to President George W. Bush.

“Ryan Streeter has served the people of Indiana since day one of my administration, and I am profoundly grateful for his leadership and commitment to public service over the last two years,” said Governor Pence. “Ryan has been critical in developing many of our major agenda items and has led all of our policy initiatives with integrity and always with a focus on Hoosiers’ best interests. I wish him the best of luck in his new role.”
