INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (May 4, 2015) – Governor Pence today signed HEA 1002, which changes ethics procedures and guidelines regarding legislative ethics, lobbyist and legislative liaison reporting, and executive agency ethics.
“The people of Indiana deserve an ethical and responsible government that efficiently and effectively serves their needs,” said Governor Pence. “HEA 1002, focused on ethics in state government, improves accountability and transparency for the benefit of all Hoosiers. I am pleased to sign this important measure into law, and I applaud the bipartisan efforts by leaders in the House and Senate for their careful and studied approach toward ensuring public confidence in our state government.”
