Pence OKs State Worker Wage Increases

Governor Mike Pence has announced pay-for-performance raises for state employees. The increases will kick in following evaluations in January and range from 3 to 6 percent.

The breakdown includes a 3 percent boost for those who "meet expectations," 4 percent for those who "exceed expectations" and 6 percent for those who receive an "outstanding" rating.

Pence says "Indiana deserves a government as good as our people. This year, because of the excellent public service demonstrated throughout state government, I am pleased to authorize a pay for performance increase in 2016."
