Pence Credits Workers For Grand Design Expansion

Governor Mike Pence thanked the employees of Grand Design RV at the company’s ground breaking Thursday in Middlebury. Pence said the $11 million expansion, which will create up to 100 jobs, is the result of the hard work put in by the company’s 800 workers.
"Most of the credit goes to all of you," Pence said to the employees of Grand Design. "The truth of the matter is when I see people investing in Indiana, they’re investing in the people of Indiana. This is a vote of confidence in all of you, in your integrity, in your work ethic, in your commitment to excellence."
Grand Design RV will construct two 110,000 square-foot buildings on its recently-acquired 48-acre site. One facility will be used to manufacture Grand Design’s Imagine trailer and the other will serve as an inspection and service center.
Pence was joined at the ground breaking by Lieutenant Governor Eric Holcomb. The expansion is scheduled to be completed this fall.
Pence said the employees are a main reason for the expansion.
