Governor Mike Pence has made two appointments to the Indiana University Board of Trustees. Former IU basketball star and current Indiana Pacers executive Quinn Buckner and Melanie Walker, chief executive officer of Tsuchiya Group North America, will each serve three-year terms. Buckner is an IU graduate who was a part of the university’s undefeated NCAA championship team and the gold medal-winning U.S. Olympic team in 1976. He currently serves as the analyst for the Indiana Pacers’ television broadcasts. Walker also serves as president of the company’s five subsidiaries, including TASUS Corp. in Bloomington.
