Governor Mike Pence has appointed Indianapolis Attorney Geoffrey Slaughter to the Indiana Supreme Court. Slaughter, who has previously served as special counsel to the Indiana attorney general, replaces Brent Dickson, who retired last month. Slaughter currently serves as a partner at Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP in Indianapolis. He is also the president of the Indiana Bar Foundation and a member of the Indiana State Bar Association. His appointment will be effective on the day he is sworn in. An official swearing-in ceremony will be announced at a later date.
