Patrick Industries has a minimum five-year lease for two buildings with a total of nearly 140,000 square feet of space. The company plans to invest $915,000 in new manufacturing and information technology equipment as well as nearly $100,000 in facility improvements to accommodate the new equipment.
The installation of the equipment is expected to begin in late March and completed by the end of October. The company says the new jobs will have an estimated pay range of $11.78 per hour for semi-skilled positions to $37.60 per hour for salaried positions.
The Mishawaka Common Council is expected to vote Monday night on a personal property tax abatement for Patrick Industries. If approved, the company would save nearly $25,000 and pay nearly $9,500 in taxes over three years.
