The chief financial officer of Elkhart-based Patrick Industries Inc. (Nasdaq: PATK) has resigned. Joshua Boone, who has served as the manufacturer’s CFO since January 2016, has accepted a senior leadership position with another publicly-traded company.

Patrick says Boone will work with the company through the second quarter to ensure an orderly transition.

“I want to thank Josh for his many contributions to the Patrick organization and for his partnership in building a solid financial foundation for the Company and a strong and talented finance and accounting team,” said Andy Nemeth, Patrick’s chief executive officer. “I am proud of what we have accomplished together and have enjoyed working with Josh and watching him grow personally and professionally. I look forward to seeing him utilize the tools and skillset he has developed to continue to succeed far into the future.”

Patrick has appointed John Forbes to interim chief financial officer. Forbes has been a member of Patrick’s Board of Directors since 2011 and has served as president of Utilimaster and CFO of Nautic Global Group LLC.
