Pat McAfee Selects ‘Barstool Sports’ Space in Indy

The sports humor and lifestyle media company launched by former Indianapolis Colts punter Pat McAfee has announced the location of its Indianapolis office. Barstool Heartland, a division of Barstool Sports, will be located near the Indianapolis Central Library. Plans call for the space in the Buckingham Companies’-owned Library Square property to include a television and radio production studio, basketball court, golf simulator and private editing rooms.
McAfee and business and operations partner Todd McComas will begin working next month with Barstool Sports’ crop of 30 interns. McAfee says "we definitely wanted to do this in Indianapolis. Bringing together cutting-edge technology, studio space and an interactive office environment will be something that’s not all that common (in) downtown Indianapolis. Our goal is to attract the best talent not just in Indianapolis, but from across the country to come and work with us. We needed to create a space that encouraged the highest level of creativity. I think we nailed it."
Buckingham Companies says the space is expected to be complete soon.
