Fort Wayne-based Parkview Health has shuffled responsibilities of five executives. The moves include naming Rick Henvey chief operating officer. March 5, 2014

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Parkview Health recently introduced several structural changes focused on helping to improve the health and well-being of northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio.

Sue Ehinger: Chief Experience Officer, Parkview Health – Serving as president of Parkview Regional Medical Center and Parkview Hospital Randallia from 2012 until January of 2014, Ehinger recently transitioned into the newly created role of Chief Experience Officer. In this role, she will focus on building a culture of caring, health and well-being within the organization and throughout the community. Ehinger will oversee Parkview initiatives and departments such as community health improvement, community benefit, service excellence and more.

Jill Ostrem: Senior Vice President, Health and Well-Being – Ostrem has served as Chief Operating Officer of Parkview Physicians Group since 2011 and will soon transition into her new role as Senior Vice President of Health and Well-Being. Ostrem will work closely with Ehinger and her focus will be on creating a culture of well-being. This includes efforts to ensure Parkview provides the community access to a variety of services that promote individual health and wellness.

Ben Miles: Chief Operating Officer, Parkview Regional Medical Center & Affiliates – Miles joined Parkview Health as Vice President of Operations at Parkview Hospital Randallia in 2012. In his brief time at Parkview Hospital Randallia, Miles drove key initiatives to help expand the services and care available including the opening of the Center for Wound Healing, Outpatient Infusion Center and coming soon, the Center on Aging and Health. As Ehinger begins her new role with the health system, Miles will assume the key leadership role overseeing Parkview’s Allen County hospitals.

Rick Henvey: Chief Operating Officer, Parkview Health – Serving as Chief Administrative Officer from 2012 until January of 2014, Henvey recently transitioned into the role of Chief Operating Officer for Parkview Health. As the health system continues to grow, Henvey now serves as lead overseeing operations throughout the eight-hospital health system. Henvey will continue working closely on strategic development initiatives throughout the health system.

Michael GeRue: Chief Operating Officer/Senior Vice President, Parkview Heart Institute & Cardiovascular Service Line – GeRue previously served as Senior Vice President of the neuroscience service line since 2011. GeRue will work in partnership with physicians and leaders to further growth, strategic direction and overall delivery of high-quality, high-value patient care within the Parkview Heart Institute and cardiovascular service line.
