Pacers Sports & Entertainment has launched a new portal to broaden its diversity of vendors. The organization says the tool will help it to create opportunities for “disenfranchised” suppliers.

PS&E says minority-, women-, Veteran-owned businesses, among others, can register to learn about opportunities to contract with the organization.

“Diversifying our vendor partnerships makes our company stronger and represents important investments in the businesses that support neighborhoods across our city and state,” said Rick Fuson, PS&E president and chief operating officer. “This new portal gives us a more intentional way to ensure we are increasing our supplier diversity, a great step in our continual process of becoming a more equitable organization.”

The portal will also allow vendors to hear about vendor fairs and engage with procurement staff.

PS & E says it is also committed to give more than half of its charitable resources to organizations striving for social justice and delivering diversity.
