Six months after Indianapolis-based OurHealth LLC detailed a $37 million round of funding, the company says growth in central Indiana and the rest of the country continues. Plans call for a third MyClinic network city — in addition to Indianapolis and Charlotte — by year’s end and the on-site and near-site primary care clinic and wellness programming provider says it has landed two key Hoosier customers already in January: the city of Fishers and the Indianapolis Airport Authority.

Ultimately, the on-site and near-site primary care clinic and wellness programming provider says it intends to launch in a total of eight markets, creating close to 500 jobs over five years. It operates 40 MyClinic locations and says the investment will help it scale-up virtual care options. OurHealth currently employs some 300 and around half of the new jobs the company is planning to add are expected to be located in Indiana.

Chief Executive Officer Ben Evans says "healthcare is broken in this country because access is not widespread and we waste two-thirds of our investment on unnecessary procedures that don’t actually improve the outcome. So we came up with a simpler way to deploy high quality care and we hold ourselves accountable to three fundamental goals – are people using the clinics? Are they getting healthier and are we saving them and their employees money?"

OurHealth expects to open the city of Fishers’ new clinic in March and the partnership with IAA gives its employees access to clinics and wellness programming in Indianapolis.
