Orlowski Named President of Michigan City Chamber

The Michigan City Area Chamber of Commerce has selected a new chamber president. Mary Jo Orlowski will begin her new role January 11.
Orlowski most recently served as the director for member services at the Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce, which won the National Chamber of the Year Award from the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives in 2012. Orlowski recruited over 750 members to the Bloomington Chamber during her time there.
"I am thrilled to join the Michigan City Area Chamber and to meet the members," said Orlowski. "The Chamber’s work is vital to the region’s business community and I look forward to working with the board, volunteers, and staff to grow the organization and represent the interests of local businesses."
The chamber says Orlowski spent much of her youth in Michigan City. He earned a Masters of Science in Clinical Exercise Physiology from Indiana University.
The Michigan City Chamber will celebrate its centennial in 2018.
