Fishers-based Opportunities for Positive Growth, one of Indiana’s providers of services for people with disabilities, is preparing to transition its leadership team. CEO Gail Kahl, who founded the human services agency in 1998 and COO Dan Kahl, who joined the organization in 2002, are retiring April 1, 2019.

Two current OPG employees will assume the top leadership roles after the transition period is complete.

Andrea Schwartz (pictured) will transition from her current role as chief strategy officer to chief executor officer-elect role assuming the duties of COO as well.  In addition, Dr. Lucy Lund will transition from executive director of self directed services to chief strategy officer-elect role. Gail Kahl and Dan Kahl will remain on the Board of Directors following their official last day of employment with OPG.

Dr. Lund, who has been with OPG for seven years, holds master’s degrees from the University of North Dakota and Lewis University along with a Ph.D. in public policy and administration from Walden University, said she is thrilled to bring her experience to an enhanced role with OPG.
