The nonprofit Sustainable Muncie Corp. has purchased the former Cintas Corp. (Nasdaq: CTAS) building in the city and plans to turn it into a business incubator and brewery. The Star Press reports Scott Wise, founder of the Scotty's Brewhouse chain of restaurants, is considering opening a brewery on the property. Plans also include a coffee shop and juice bar.

The building has been empty since 2012. The organization says the next step is to search for redevelopment partners.

Early proposals call the more than 80,000 square-foot building the Muncie Makers Hub.
