Officials to Detail Gary Redevelopment Effort

GARY, Ind. – On Friday, July 19, leaders from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the U.S. Department of Transportation will join the Gary Mayor Karen Freeman-Wilson to announce a new redevelopment project.
Through the federal Partnership for Sustainable Communities, EPA, HUD, and DOT, along with other federal and state agencies, will work with the city and private foundations on the new project.
