News Release

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Just weeks before the opening of the new Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital and Eskenazi Health campus, Wishard-Eskenazi Health officials will join community leaders tomorrow, Oct. 23, to kick off the opening of the new Eskenazi Health West 38th Street, the health system's newest, largest and most comprehensive community health center. The new 70,000-square-foot health center will be the most advanced in Wishard-Eskenazi Health's current network of nearly 30 primary care and mental health care facilities.

Its range of services will include primary care for all ages, prenatal care, health and wellness programs, physical therapy, radiology and other diagnostic testing services. Like the new Eskenazi Health campus, Eskenazi Health West 38th Street is on track to achieve Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Silver certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. Following the ribbon-cutting, public tours of the new health center will be available. On Saturday, Oct. 26, Wishard-Eskenazi Health will hold a community health fair and open house at the new health center, which begins serving patients on Monday, Oct. 28.
