The U.S. Department of Defense has awarded a major contract to Odon-based Maven Construction and Environmental LLC. The $15 million contract calls for roofing repairs and replacement at Naval Support Activity, Crane as well as the Glendora Test Facility in Sullivan.

The DOD says the work may also include the removal, repair or replacement of exterior insulation or metal siding. Work is expected to be complete by October 2021.

Maven was chosen out of five proposals for the project. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command in Virginia is the contracting activity.
