He previously led global marketing and events for Connecticut-based research and advisory firm SiriusDecisions. Octiv says Gillespie will lead the company’s marketing functions as it "enters its next phase of growth." He also serves as an advisor to Maritz Global Travel and marketing software provider Terminus. The announcement comes one week after the company announced it was changing its brand from TinderBox to Octiv. The company plans to invest more than $3 million to expand its downtown Indianapolis headquarters and create up to 224 jobs by 2021.
