Octiv Names CMO

Indianapolis-based Octiv has hired Brad Gillespie to serve as chief marketing officer. Gillespie previously led global marketing and events for Connecticut-based research and advisory firm SiriusDecisions.
Octiv says Gillespie will lead the company’s marketing functions as it "enters its next phase of growth." Gillespie also serves as an advisor to Maritz Global Travel and marketing software provider Terminus.
"Brad has developed a deep understanding of the sales SaaS ecosystem, which makes his move to Octiv a significant one," said Dustin Sapp, co-founder and chief executive officer of Octiv. "His experience building marketing teams for fast-growth companies will help us capitalize on the large market opportunity in front of us. We’re grateful and excited he has joined our growing team."
The announcement comes one week after the company announced it was changing its brand from TinderBox to Octiv. The company plans to invest more than $3 million to expand its downtown Indianapolis headquarters and create up to 224 jobs by 2021.
