The Crane Naval Surface Warfare Center has promoted Brett Seidle to technical director. He previously served as deputy technical director and succeeds Adam Razavian. Seidle joined the center in 2000 and has served in a number of positions, including deputy director of the applied science department and department director for corporate operations. He served as acting technical director from mid-January through March. Seidle received his doctorate degree in public policy from Indiana University. The Crane NSWC says in his new role, Seidle will lead a work force comprised of engineers, scientists, technicians and business experts.
