Notre Dame Promotes Two to VP

David Bailey will serve as vice president for strategic planning and institutional research while Doug Marsh will serve as vice president for facilities design and operations. Bailey, a 1983 graduate of Notre Dame, has led the university’s Office of Strategic Planning and Institutional Research since 2012. Marsh is a 1982 graduate of Notre Dame and serves as the university’s architect. He has led the planning, design and construction of nearly $2 billion in new facilities, renovation, maintenance and utilities projects since returning to Notre Dame in 1995, according to the university. As a result of his promotion, Marsh will join the President’s Leadership Council. Bailey has previously served on the council as well.
