University of Notre Dame Professor Joyelle McSweeney has been named a finalist for the Kingsley Tufts Poetry Award, which honors work by mid-career poets. McSweeney serves as an English professor and Creative Writing Program faculty member. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University and a master’s degree from Oxford University.
