The University of Notre Dame’s Beijing Global Gateway has appointed Jingyu Wang executive director. She will oversee programs in Beijing that promote understanding, advance knowledge and address issues.

Wang most recently served as director of Global Maximum Educational Opportunity Chengdu Center and as a program coordinator at Peking University. She was also nominated and elected in 2018 to a position on the Board of Governors for the American Chamber of Commerce in southwest China.

The Beijing Global Gateway is part of Notre Dame’s International global network, also including four other Global gateways in Dublin, Jerusalem, London and Rome. The university also has six Global Centers in Hong Kong, Mexico City, Mumbai, Santiago, Sao Paulo and Kylemore Abbey in western Ireland.
