Northwest Indiana Publisher to Lead Group of Newspapers

Lee Enterprises (NYSE: LEE), a provider of news, information and advertising in 50 markets, has named Times Media Company Publisher Chris White a group publisher. White will also oversee operations of the Journal Times in Racine, Wisconsin; the Globe Gazette in Mason City, Iowa; the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier and other, specialty publications.
White became publisher in 2013 of Times Media Company, which includes The Times, nwitimes.com, Inspired Living and BusINess magazines.
“In his two years with Lee, Chris has proven himself an exceptional operator and an outstanding asset to our company,” said Kevin Mowbray, executive vice president and chief operating officer. “He has produced excellent results in northwest Indiana and made the Times one of the top performing properties in our company. His energy, expertise and leadership are a huge benefit to the publishers in these markets as they work to grow audience and drive revenue in the communities they serve.”

Before joining the team at Lee Enterprises, White was publisher of GateHouse-Ohio Media and The Repository in Canton.
