Ownership has changed hands at three small newspapers in northeast Indiana. Kendallville-based KPC Media Group Inc. has announced the acquisition of All Printing & Publications Inc. in Albion. The deal involves the Albion New Era, the Churubusco News and Huntertown's Northwest News.

KPC Media Group Inc. already owns nearly a dozen publications, including: The Sun News in Kendallville, The Star in Auburn, The Herald Republican in Angola, The Butler Bulletin, The Garrett Clipper, The Advance Leader in Ligonier and The Greater Fort Wayne Business Weekly.

In a statement published in the KPC News, All Printing & Publications President Robert Allman said “the acquisition of All Printing & Publications by KPC will guarantee the continuation of our hometown newspapers, the Albion New Era, the Churubusco News and the Northwest News. KPC has a fine reputation for quality journalism, which is recognized around the state. It is my firm belief that KPC Media is a perfect fit for our communities.”
