The city of Noblesville has appointed Maranda Taylor to the newly-created position of economic development manager. Taylor most recently served as business development manager for Alderson Commercial Group in Indianapolis.
Taylor will focus on attracting companies and partners to the city.
“Telling Noblesville’s story as a viable location for economic activity is part of our proactive strategy,” Economic Development Director Andrew Murray said. “Maranda brings valuable experience and relationships and will lead our intentional marketing and business attraction efforts as we continue to elevate Noblesville.”
Taylor’s background includes work in real estate with a focus on construction and development projects. She has also held business development roles for The Hagerman Group in Fort Wayne and Strongbox Commercial in Indianapolis.
“I’m very excited to serve the City of Noblesville on the economic development team. We have a group of extremely talented and dedicated leaders who truly care about our city, its businesses, and most importantly the people,” said Taylor. “I’m excited about the road ahead and what’s to come next in our great city. I look forward to using my experience in the commercial development and construction sectors toward growing our city and our relationships.”
Taylor officially began her new role last week.
