The Noblesville Common Council has approved a preliminary resolution for the company’s $1.6 million expansion, marking the location as an economic revitalization area.
American Feeding Systems is planning to build a more than 16,000 square-foot facility which will house its corporate offices as well as a space for light manufacturing. The company currently employs 20 workers and plans to hire five more within the next five years.
The city says the resolution, known as a "first look," is an "introduction to an economic development project and lays out the initial request for approval with council." A public hearing will be held at the council’s next meeting on July 12.
