Noblesville-based Nexxt Spine LLC has received clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for its NEXXT MATRIXX Stand Alone Cervical System. The system is a "stand-alone anterior cervical interbody fusion system" intended to be used for treatment of degenerative disc disease.
"This enhancement of the NEXXT MATRIXX portfolio was the next natural progression for Nexxt Spine,” Andy Elsbury, president of Nexxt Spine, said in a news release. "With patient care always top of mind, we strive to develop end products that surgeons prefer and hardware patients can count on."
The company hopes to soon bring the new system to market. It will join the company’s preexisting lineup of spine solutions.
