Noblesville Businesses Looking to Expand Parker Media Group is currently located inside the Model Mill building.

Three Noblesville businesses are planning expansions that are expected to bring more than two dozen new jobs over the next five years. The Noblesville Common Council has approved economic revitalization areas for Verdure Sciences, Parker Mortgage Group and Parker Media Group and Spectra Tech.

Verdure Sciences plans to invest $3.5 million to build a new 15,000 square-foot headquarters that will include office space, a warehouse for distribution and an innovation laboratory for manufacturing. The company, which has plans to expand in the future as well, will hire 10 new employees over five years and retain 20 as part of the expansion.

Parker Mortgate Group and Parker Media Group plans to hire 15 new employees over the next five years as part of its $1.13 million expansion project. The company says it plans to merge two units, totaling more than 8,200 square-feet, near 10th and Logan Streets. The work includes renovating a portion of the building that has stood uninhabited for 15 years.

The city says Spectra Tech has plans to build a 9,000 square-foot building to serve as its office headquarters and warehouse. The $825,000 project also allows for potential future expansion. The investment would lead to the retention of 18 jobs.

The three companies are asking for a total of more than $500,000 in tax incentives. The Noblesville Common Council will hold a public hearing and confirmatory resolution at its next meeting September 27.
