NiSource COO to Retire

(NYSE: NI) has announced Chief Operating Officer Jim Stanley will retire later this spring. Additionally, the company has promoted two to its executive leadership team.
Stanley has served as COO and executive vice president of NiSource since July 2015. He will step down June 1 after more than 40 years in the energy industry, including serving as executive vice president and chief executive officer of NIPSCO.
"Jim’s legacy of leadership experience and true dedication to customer and community service have set standards of excellence that will serve NiSource stakeholders for years to come," said NiSource President and CEO Joe Hamrock. "He’s built a team prepared to continue delivering on our well-established programs and enhancing our services to our customers."
NiSource has named Pablo Vegas executive vice president of its gas segment and chief customer officer. Vegas, who currently serves as EVP and president and Columbia Gas Group, will begin his new role May 1. He will lead field operations across NiSource’s seven natural gas companies.
The company has also named Mike Finissi executive vice president of safety, capital execution and technical services. He will be responsible for capital programs, engineering, safety, environmental, technical training and shared services. Finissi has served as senior vice president of capital execution since 2015.
