Nickel Plate Express has hired Dagny Zupin as communications coordinator. She will oversee media outreach and public relations for Nickel Plate Express, a nonprofit set to open in September.

As a recent Ball State University graduate, Zupin has a background in public relations and marketing. Specifically, she has a passion for unique tourism experiences in Indiana. Zupin served as Hamilton County Tourism’s marketing intern and has worked as communications intern for Nickel Plate Express for several months.

Zupin joins Nickel Plate Express just as rail restoration begins on the track in Atlanta. Excursions are scheduled to begin in September, with ticket sales beginning this summer.
