Structural, a human resources software provider is based in St. Paul, Minnesota and has an office and significant connections in Indianapolis.
Since High Alpha’s launch in late 2015, it has helped with five startups and its public portfolio now numbers eight companies.
Structural’s chief marketing officer is Chip House, the first marketing employee hired by Indianapolis-based ExactTarget (now Salesforce Marketing Cloud) who has recently served as CMO for Four51, a startup in Minneapolis. A spokesman with High Alpha says Structural is in growth mode and could seek additional funding by the end of the year. It currently employs six full-time workers between its Indiana and Minnesota offices, a number that could double in the next six months.
The company’s mobile software tracks and aggregates employee profile, interest, performance and personality data to help organizations "find the right connections with the right capabilities at the right time." Scott Burns is chief executive officer. He founded and ran St. Paul-based GovDelivery, which was acquired last year by Vista Equity Partners for $153 million and merged with Granicus.
High Alpha Managing Partner Scott Dorsey, an ExactTarget co-founder and longtime colleague of House, says "when we were growing ExactTarget from a small startup to a global enterprise with over 2,000 employees, we worked hard to build a connected, results-oriented culture. Structural builds on what we learned and uses mobile technology to help employees stay connected and reach their full potential. We are thrilled to have Scott and Chip leading Structural and bringing this technology to progressive workers and leaders everywhere."
