The Newburgh Group, an executive recruiting business headquartered in southern Indiana, has promoted Brandon Cooper to president. He succeeds Dan Oates, who was a former owner and retired from the firm in April. In addition to his retirement, Oates sold his interest in the company to Cooper and his family. 

Cooper has worked as a partner with the firm since 2007. He graduated from the University of Southern Indiana with a bachelor degree in business and a minor in economics.
