New UE Grant Focuses on Students in Need

Subscribe NowThe University of Evansville’s newly-launched Aces Opportunity Grant will allow certain fall 2021 freshmen to pay no tuition out of pocket. Freshmen whose families earn less than $50,000 who apply to the university will automatically be eligible for the grant.
“The grant program is a strong statement that all students should have choices about how to plan for a successful future in a small classroom environment and, at the same time, to make a positive impact on our communities by joining our commitment to service in a changing world,” said president Christopher Pietruszkiewicz.
UE Director of Admission Kenton Hargis says the grant will serve as a bridge between student scholarships and grants and tuition costs.
“We know quality higher education is expensive, but we want to help more students find a way to say yes to UE.”
