The RoomPlace Unveils Big Indy Plans

The RoomPlace will detail plans this morning to grow its footprint with a new warehouse and showroom on the east side of Indianapolis. The Illinois-based furniture company expects the facility, which will house the corporate headquarters of its rent-to-own retail division, to result in more than 100 new jobs.
The building on E. Washington St. is owned by shopping center developer Sandor. Chief Executive Officer Sidney Eskenazi brokered the deal with The RoomPlace. The building has been vacant for 20 years. The facility is expected to open in the late fall.
The company will detail its plans this morning at 10:00 at the new warehouse and showroom location. The announcement will feature The RoomPlace Founder Bruce Berman and Chief Executive Officer Paul Adams, Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett and Sandor CEO Sidney Eskenazi. City, state and neighborhood leaders will also take part in this morning’s event.
