New Rehab Hospital Coming to Carmel

A specially-designed 60,0000-square-foot rehabilitation hospital is coming to Carmel. Medistar Corporation and Post Acute Medical LLC will develop PAM Rehabilitation Hospital of Indianapolis in the medical corridor along U.S. 31.
The 60-bed facility will include a customized unit designed for the treatment of traumatic brain injuries, stroke or neurodegenerative disorders.
"Post Acute Medical is excited to bring comprehensive care to Indiana for rehabilitation patients with complex conditions," says Anthony Misitano, President and CEO of PAM. "Throughout all the communities we serve, we put the patient first and provide individualized treatment that fosters meaningful improvement and recovery for people with injuries, illnesses and disabilities."
Financial terms are not being disclosed and developers did not provide any information on how many jobs would be created as a result of the venture. The new hospital is the 11th project between the two entities.
