Georgia-based Gray Television Inc. (NYSE: GTN) says it has reached an agreement to sell WSBT-TV in the South Bend market to Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: SBGI) to facilitate regulatory approvals. In September, Gray announced the acquisition of the TV and radio stations owned by Mishawaka-based Schurz Communications Inc. for approximately $442.5 million.

Schurz currently owns WSBT-TV in the South Bend market. Gray currently owns WNDU-TV in South Bend. Due to FCC regulations, the company had to sell one of the stations. The transaction is awaiting FCC approval.
