An Arkansas-based international logistics service provider is opening a new office in downtown Indy. BNSF Logistics says it will add jobs with positions in sales, administration and operations following its move this summer.
BNSF’s new office marks a 424 percent increase in its Indianapolis footprint, the company’s former office space on the north side was 2,500 square feet. The company also says it will complete future hiring as its reach grows in Indianapolis.
BNSF has signed an office lease at 141 East Ohio Street in downtown Indianapolis with Newmark Knight Frank.
“Indianapolis is a major transportation hub so maintaining a strong presence in the market is significant to our company; BNSF has made a long-term commitment to Indianapolis,” commented Philip Gramelspacher, branch manager at BNSF Logistics, in a news release. “We are very excited about the move to a new downtown Indianapolis location, which will enhance our office culture while providing an excellent point for future recruiting.”
