Winamac-based BraunAbility has announced its next president and chief executive officer. Staci Kroon will succeed Nick Gutwein, who will retire at the end of the month. Kroon most recently served as executive vice president of Eaton Business Systems, a division of global manufacturer Eaton Corp. PLC (NYSE: ETN).
Gutwein says "I am confident we have chosen the right successor in Staci to continue our mission of ‘Making Life a Moving Experience’’ for those with mobility challenges." The company was founded 45 years ago and bills itself as the world’s leading manufacturer of wheelchair accessible vehicles and wheelchair lifts in the mobility industry.
BraunAbility Chairman of the Board Keith McLoughlin says "the Board could not be more pleased that Staci Kroon has accepted the role of President and CEO. She is the right leader to drive our strategies around growth, consumer focus, relevant innovation, and operational excellence."
Kroon’s first day will be November 27.
